Experience

Gaining Experience Points

Its simple to gain experience in the game and 'in the game' is quite accurate as you will gain experience as you play, though this is up to the Guide Master but we would recommend it. As you will find that characters can upgrade in the middle of combat for example a player gains enough experience to level and gains a second or third attack in the middle of combat.

Gaining via power scores

You can also gain experience via making good rolls a power score of 30 gives 1 point of experience, 60 equals 2 and so on. So a power score of 300 for example gives 10 points.

Gaining via Roleplaying

You can also gain experience via actually Roleplaying a character or situation well.

Gaining via combat

When you fight creatures in combat your Guide may give you some xp for the fight.

Gaining via Quests

When you complete quests you will gain XP.

Spending Experience Points

Its even easier to spend experience points

The stat level of of the skill is the current level minus 5 for every critical tick you have on that skill

  • To put up a Stat then its 4x the current level and increases by 1d10.
  • To put up a Primary Skill then its 1x the current level of that skill and increases by 1d10.
  • To put up a Secondary Skill then its 2x the current level of that skill and increases by 1d10.
  • To put up a Combat base Skill like missile weapons then its 10x the current level of that skill and increases by 1d10.

NOTE:- to see the list of primary skills see the appropriate Character Class for the player.

Example: Joe has a strength of 60 and wants to put it up his skill he would normally have to spend 240xp but luckily he has had 2 critical successes on strength and can reduce the 60 to be 50 meaning that he only requires to spend 200xp.
